The BC Economic Atlas has been launched to expand the range of spatial tools available to support energy and other opportunities in communities and regions throughout British Columbia. It replaces the BC Energy Map (retired in 2014).
This user-friendly, publicly available web-based mapping application integrates and displays spatial economic and natural resource data to support business and investment opportunity identification, business case analysis and business and investment decision-making in BC.
The application allows users to select from a range of economic, social, environmental, natural resource and other data sets and to use tools to conduct analysis. Users can quickly create, mark-up, save, print and share maps to suit specific purposes and information needs.
