About the BC Climate Action Toolkit
About the Toolkit
The BC Climate Action Toolkit provides BC communities with the latest news and events, links to best practices, and resources and tools to help support their climate change mitigation and emissions reduction efforts. The Toolkit was developed to support an integrated approach to planning and land use management and to achieve low carbon and resilient communities.
While the primary audience for the Toolkit is local government staff engaged in emissions reduction initiatives other audiences may also find it useful. The Toolkit is supported through a partnership between the joint Provincial-UBCM Green Communities Committee and the Fraser Basin Council.
Ideas and contributions for Toolkit content are provided by a range of partners including BC local governments, provincial ministries and agencies, non-government organizations and the Toolkit partners. The Toolkit is designed to be a living site, growing and changing based on user needs and feedback.
