The Climate Action Certificate from SFU Continuing Studies is launching two new courses starting May 8: “Climate Justice: Building Just and Equitable Communities” and “Indigenous Perspectives in Climate Action.”

The former focuses on prioritizing vulnerable communities in climate action efforts, navigating organizational challenges, and designing equitable solutions, while the latter delves into the impact of climate change on Indigenous peoples, explores Indigenous worldviews, and advocates for an Indigenous rights-based approach to climate engagement.

Both six-week online courses offer valuable insights into addressing climate change from diverse perspectives and can be taken individually or as part of the certificate program.
