Introduction to Sustainable Cities
The course hosted by Simon Fraser University will introduce attendees to the primary challenges and principles of sustainable urban planning and design. Using climate change-related mitigation and adaptation examples used in Metro Vancouver, participants will learn about key dimensions of climate action and ecological knowledge and how they can be incorporated into planning and design.
