The FCM's Climate and Asset Management Network helps municipalities integrate climate change decisions along with infrastructure, such as roads, bridges and recreation facilities. Participants benefit from peer-learning opportunities, funding and training to integrate climate change with asset management planning. The application deadline is June 15.
The new BC Energy Step Code establishes a set of incremental performance steps for new buildings that will help BC to transition to net zero energy ready buildings by 2032. BC local governments can use this voluntary tool to encourage—or require—the construction of more energy-efficient buildings in their communities.
