FCM has recently announced a change to receiving grant applications for its Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program (MCIP). Due to the high volume and quality of applications received since spring 2017, applications will no longer be accepted on an ongoing, year round basis. Thus, application forms for MCIP funding towards plans, studies and capital projects are presently no longer available for download from FCM’s website. Some project types remain eligible under FCM’s Green Municipal Fund. Communities are encouraged to apply through the GMF.

In 2018, specific calls for applications will now be issued for MCIP grants including the staff support grants, Transition 2050, and additional intakes for the Climate and Asset Management Network. Stay tuned for more information.
