Join FCM for Webinar #5 in their Webinar series: Plastic waste management solutions for Canadian municipalities, a part of the Thinking Big series, these sessions explore new ways to manage plastic waste through practical circular economy approaches

Event Description: 
In this new webinar series, you will learn how changes in international regulations around plastic waste has created challenges and opportunities for Canadian municipalities of all sizes to lower contamination rates in their recyclable materials, improve recycling systems and the quality of recyclables. 
 
Over the five sessions, you will: 
  • Learn how Canadian municipalities are adapting to new recycled materials requirements through partnerships, recycling programs and more 
  • Discover how communities are improving their recycling system and processes through education initiatives, innovative technologies and principles of circular economy 
  • Be able to apply lessons learned and best practices from municipalities who have effectively managed their plastic waste 
The webinar recordings will be available on FCM's YouTube channel a few weeks after the sessions. 
 
This webinar, session #5 will focus on Canadian and foreign innovative technologies that process plastic waste ultimately fostering local and circular economy. We will also examine current trends and promising technologies from Canada and globally.
