Do you need funding for an innovative environmental project in your municipality? Are you looking for grants to help your community adapt to climate change or reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions?
Sign up for our free webinars taking place from April 25 to April 27 for an overview on the new climate change funding available, and learn how funding from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) can help your municipality with environment- and climate-related projects.
Event Description:
This session examines ways Canadian municipalities can reduce, reuse and recycle waste to decrease GHG emissions from landfills, reduce the volume of waste produced, target a specific waste stream, and introduce landfill gas capture.
Our FCM advisors will also discuss funding for brownfield initiatives, from bringing contaminated sites back into productive use to reducing the need for greenfield development. There will be a short overview of the different types of funding available for brownfields, which include site assessments, remediation and redevelopment.
