Save the Date! Asset Management BC is hosting an annual conference in Vancouver, BC on September 26 and 27, 2018 at the Radisson Airport hotel.

Event Description: 
Asset Management BC is hosting their annual conference September 26 and 27, 2018 at the Radisson Airport hotel, Vancouver. Registration is open on CivicInfo under events (www.civicinfo.bc.ca). 
 
The conference theme is “Competing Priorities in a Changing World”.  It is time to move the conversation forward and explore some of the core issues around asset management. Keynote speaker, Bob Sanford, a climate change specialist, will open the conference. On Day 2, the conference will be open with a keynote talk from Diane Kalen-Surka, prior CAO of the Village of Salmo and a sustainability and asset management champion. Hear speakers on finance, operations and maintenance, land use, level of service  and other issues related to furthering asset management plus participate in interactive sessions.  A networking reception will be Wednesday evening. Thursday includes a panel on  programs and funding with UBCM, Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, FCM and Infrastructure Canada participating.
